This day was commemorated by celebratory songs performed by children and Adolescent group Choirs, the triumphant entry of Jesus in to Jerusalem, the day before his passion.

Mar Thomas Meram, after Homily, contribute the Palm Feast for the parishioners and added; “This day is dedicated to the children and adolescents that spread the news of Jesus' arrival to Jerusalem by singing and dancing”. He added “Now that we approach the end of the fasting period, we should confess to our sins, clear our heart and mind by repenting.”

Mar Thomas Meram compared the event to when Jesus arrived in a Temple, He evicted and cleared all the dealers out of the Temple, the Holy House of His father. Therefore, we should cleanse away the evil within ourselves and fill our heart and mind with the goodness of God and prepare ourselves for His Resurrection.
