May is the month dedicated to Virgin Mary, whom we honour as the first disciple, Mother of God and Mother of the Church. We recognise Mary as the one who listened and responded to the call of God. 

This month we particularly encourage the praying of the Rosary, a prayer that is special in the Catholic tradition. 

It is also an old tradition in Assyro Chaldian Church to celebrate the end of Holy month, dedicated to St Mary.

It started with Holy mass at Church of St Mary. Special decorations with flowers were used for such celebration.

About seventy children had dressed according to tradition, wearing white robes and blue ribbons with crowns made of flowers.
